On December 13th the CHS Tribe will hit the track for a Winter Rocks celebration, welcoming the winter break with music, dancing, games, prizes and the BEST FUNdraising event EVER! We Need Some Help from the TRIBE! We Need Donations and Volunteers Donations Needed: Prizes for student raffle (gift certificates or any prizes that would be appealing to HS Students) Cuties, Pretzels, Granola Bars/Healthy Snacks/Muffins, Pizza & lemonade for winning class (money to pay for any of the above ;) ) Volunteer Needs Set-up Clean-up Food Distribution Contact Colleen Kleege at [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to contribute. What is the “WINTER ROCKS” event? The purpose of the Winter Rocks event is to create camaraderie throughout the CHS campus by bringing together the students, the staff, the administration and the community through a healthy and engaging event that raises community spirit while raising funds to support the students and the various programs they are offered at Clairemont High School. What happens? Students receive an email link that outlines the details of the event and requests sponsorship via a paypal donation on the Foundation website. Students can email the sponsorship request to friends and family. **The class to raise the most money wins a pizza party on the 20th** On December 13 Students will be lead to the stadium to participate in a variety of Pep Rally- like activities led by ASB. Each student that participates on the track will receive 3 raffle tickets (in addition to raffle tickets they earned through donations) One to vote on the Administrator that will have to dye their hair for school on the 20th: the Principal, Vice Principals or Athletic Director. One to vote on which teacher they want to go to lunch at Luce’s (4 winners) **Teachers must wear Wacky Winter Wear to participate in the Event.** One to enter a raffle for various prizes (winners chosen after the walk) More info and DONATE HERE Comments are closed.
