CHS Foundation will be awarding 4 Seniors with a $500 scholarship to help with your next step, whether it’s college, trade school or other educational institution.
CHS Foundation- Senior Scholarships Guidelines
The Clairemont High School Foundation offers 4 senior scholarships of $500. Requirements:
Applicants must be graduating Senior students at Clairemont High School.
Applicants must submit an essay responding to the prompt.
The application needs to be submitted before or by the deadline.
No late submissions will be accepted.
The student must be attending a school of higher education.
*This can be community college, 4yr college/university, trade school or any educational institution where tuition is paid.
Seniors Scholarship Essay Contest Details Students interested in competing for one of these four scholarships must thoughtfully consider and respond to the following prompt:
“What is the biggest lesson you have learned during your high school years, and how will this learning experience help in your future educational endeavors?”
All essay submissions must be typed and double-spaced, 750 words maximum.
Special formatting or fonts need not be included. All essays will be formatted to the same font style and size by the committee chair when presenting them to the senior scholarship committee to read.
This will be a blind read with no names on the essays, by CHS Foundation Board members of non-senior students.
Essay submissions must include your name, contact information and educational institution you are planning to attend in the Fall of 2024.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 28, 2024, by 11:59 p.m.
The four winners will be announced at the CHS Senior Awards Assembly.
The CHS Counseling department will send invitations to all CHS award recipients. Scholarship monies are paid directly to the student’s school of attendance. Winning students will need to provide the payment information once enrolled in order to receive payment into their student account.
