Dear Fellow Chieftain Fans, the end of one of the strangest school years in academic history is coming to a close. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Clairemont High School Foundation, to thank all the members of our TRIBE whose commitment and creativity reminded us why “Our pride in the TRIBE will never die!” From the beginning of COVID’s arrival in our lives and on our campus, the administration, staff and parents banded together to support the students and families of the Clairemont High School Tribe. No one can deny the pain and hardship many faced as life as we knew it came to a screeching halt on that fateful Friday the 13th, but many of us will agree that some amazing things happened as a result of our desire to overcome the adversity. Events like the Halloween House Decorating Event, the “Deck the House” Holiday Light Contest and our Take-Out Thursday dine around town will stay with us long after the COVID virus has faded. Please join us for our June 1st Fast Times dinner night and for our final meeting of the school year on Tuesday, June 8. We will be having a live meeting at Isabella, in conjunction with a family dinner night. If you would prefer to attend by ZOOM let me know so that we can accommodate for a video audience. We will be holding elections for next year’s vacant positions and welcome the opportunity to answer any questions and share information about the Board and volunteering with the Clairemont High School Foundation. Vacant Board positions for 2021-22: President – General supervision, direction and control of the activities, affairs and Officers of the Foundation. Preside at all Board meetings.
