CHS Foundation will be awarding 4 Seniors with a $500 scholarship to help with your next step, whether it’s college, trade school or other educational institution.
Seniors Scholarship Essay Contest Details Students interested in competing for one of these four scholarships must thoughtfully consider and respond to the following prompt:
“What is the biggest lesson you have learned during your high school years, and how will this learning experience help in your future educational endeavors?”
All essay submissions must be typed and double-spaced, 500 words minimum, 750 words maximum.
Special formatting or fonts need not be included. All essays will be formatted to the same font style and size by the committee chair when presenting them to the senior scholarship committee to read.
This will be a blind read with no names on the essays, by CHS Foundation Board members of non-senior students.
Essay submissions must include your name, contact information and educational institution you are planning to attend in the Fall of 2025.
Please do not use a sandi.net email address as we cannot contact you there.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, by 11:59 p.m.
The four winners will be announced at the CHS Senior Awards Assembly.
The CHS Counseling department will send invitations to all CHS award recipients. Scholarship monies are paid directly to the student’s school of attendance. Winning students will need to provide the payment information once enrolled in order to receive payment into their student account.
